Who can take part
- You must be 18 or older.
- You have stable or unstable chest pain (angina) or had a heart attack more than 72 hours ago.
- One of your heart arteries has a blockage between 30% and 90% when seen on an angiogram.
- The blocked artery must be at least 2.0 mm wide.
- You cannot have severe heart failure, very low heart function, or severe kidney disease.
- You cannot be allergic to the contrast dye used during the procedure.
