Who can take part

  • You are between 10 and 17 years old.
  • You play an organized sport and have been training for at least 12 months.
  • You have pain in the front of the knee below the kneecap (Osgood-Schlatter) or in the back of the heel (Sever) that gets worse with activity.
  • Your pain is at least a 3 out of 10 and has been going on for 2 weeks or more.
  • You have not had an injury, surgery, or other health problems that affect your legs.
  • You have not taken anti-inflammatory pain medicine in the last 14 days, and no steroid or laser therapy in the last 3 months.
