Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
  • Your foot ulcer is at least 1 cm² and no larger than 15 cm² after cleaning.
  • Your ulcer has been present for at least 4 weeks but not more than 52 weeks.
  • Your ulcer is on your foot, mostly below the ankle, and goes through the skin but does not expose bone.
  • You have good blood flow to your leg, confirmed by a recent test.
  • You are willing to attend weekly study visits and use prescribed offloading (like a special shoe or boot).
