Who can take part

  • Age 8–85 if you are blind, or 18–85 if you have normal vision.
  • Blind from an eye problem (able to see only light or less in both eyes), or have good vision (20/40 or better) with no eye conditions.
  • Able to hear, understand, and sign the consent form.
  • Willing to have brain scans (MRI) and can lie still inside the scanner.
  • Able to walk and stand on your own.
