Who can take part
- You are scheduled for an elective (planned) direct laryngoscopy under general anesthesia.
- Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18 and 40.
- Your ASA physical status is I, II, or III (meaning you are generally healthy or have mild to moderate health issues).
- You do not have severe arrhythmias (serious irregular heartbeats), advanced heart failure, or severe heart valve disease.
- You are not in shock or needing constant medication to support your blood pressure before the procedure.
- You do not have significant peripheral vascular disease that affects blood flow to your arms or legs.
