Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old and have been diagnosed with a type of lung scarring called pulmonary fibrosis, caused by conditions like chronic hypersensitivity pneumonitis, connective tissue disease, or undifferentiated ILD.
- You have been on a stable dose of immunosuppressive medications (such as prednisone, mycophenolate, or rituximab) for at least 3 months.
- Your lung function tests show your FVC is at least 45% of predicted and your DLCO is at least 25% of predicted.
- You have not taken any anti-fibrotic drugs (like pirfenidone or nintedanib) in the past, and you have not smoked in the last 6 months.
- You are able to have an MRI with contrast (no metal implants, no severe kidney disease, and no allergy to the contrast dye).
