Who can take part

  • You must have been accepted into the main MyeloMATCH screening study first.
  • You have been diagnosed with low-risk MDS (IPSS-R score of 3.5 or lower) and have anemia that causes symptoms like tiredness or shortness of breath.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have not had any prior treatment for MDS (like luspatercept, lenalidomide, or chemotherapy). You may have had up to 2 doses of erythropoietin (a drug to boost red blood cells) if it was more than 8 weeks ago.
  • Your blood counts and kidney/liver function meet specific levels, and your erythropoietin level is 500 IU/L or less.
  • You do not have MDS with a specific chromosome change (del5q), and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
