Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have symptoms of critical limb ischemia, like rest pain or minor tissue loss (non-healing wound)
  • You have a blocked or narrowed artery below the knee (in your lower leg)
  • You either have diabetes with good kidney function (eGFR 25 or higher) OR you have been on dialysis for at least 6 months
  • You do not have an active infection, a wound above the ankle, or a past major amputation above the ankle on the affected leg
