Gene-modified immune cells for advanced lung cancer

Non-Small Cell Lung CancerAdvanced/Metastatic NSCLC

Treatments studied

Part of Cancer, Lungs & breathing clinical trials.

This trial tests an experimental immune cell therapy (CAR-NK cells) that targets two to three specific markers on your lung cancer cells. It may be an option if your cancer has stopped responding to standard treatments and if tests show your tumor carries those markers.

Who can take part

  • You have advanced non-small cell lung cancer (stage IIIB, IIIC, or IV) that has grown despite standard treatments like chemotherapy or immunotherapy.
  • You have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans (like a CT scan).
  • You have a stored tumor sample or are willing to have a new biopsy to check for certain markers on your cancer cells.
  • Your cancer cells must show high levels of at least two of these markers: MSLN, EGFR, or HER2.
  • You are able to do your daily activities with little or no help (performance status 0 or 1).
  • You do not have uncontrolled brain metastases, severe lung disease, or a history of severe reactions to earlier cell therapies.

CAR-NK Cell Therapy for Advanced Lung Cancer

This study tests a new type of immune cell therapy (CAR-NK cells) designed to recognize and attack lung cancer cells that have spread or stopped responding to standard treatments. The goal is to see if this approach can shrink tumors and help patients live longer.

NCT06972576Recruiting· Phase 1
EphA2-targeted CAR-DC and CAR-T cell therapy for advanced lung cancer

This trial tests a new combination therapy using your own immune cells (CAR-T and CAR-DC) that are specially trained to attack a protein called EphA2 found on your lung cancer cells. It is for people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer whose cancer has continued to grow after other treatments.
