Who can take part

  • You have vivax malaria confirmed by a blood test
  • You have normal G6PD enzyme activity (a blood test will check this)
  • You have a fever or had a fever in the last 48 hours
  • You are at least 5 years old and weigh 14 kg or more
  • You live in the study area and can be followed for 6 months
