Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • You've been admitted to the hospital for acute heart failure within the last 48 hours.
  • You have symptoms like shortness of breath, swelling, or feeling very tired.
  • Your heart's ability to pump (ejection fraction) is less than 50% on imaging.
  • Your BNP level (a heart stress marker) is 300 pg/mL or higher.
  • You have signs of fluid buildup confirmed by an ultrasound (at least 3 points on a congestion score).
