Who can take part
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You have rest pain or a small wound on your leg (Rutherford Category 4 or 5).
- The blockage is in a natural artery below the knee, not in a graft, and is 5–30 cm long.
- You have not had a heart attack, stroke, or major bleeding in the past 2–3 months.
- Your kidneys are working well enough that you are not on dialysis and your creatinine level is normal.
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or participating in another investigational study.
