Who can take part
- You are between 3 and 18 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with PFAPA syndrome by a doctor.
- You have had at least 3 fever episodes in the last 6 months.
- Your fevers go away within 24 hours after taking steroids (at a dose of up to 2 mg per kg, but no more than 60 mg in total).
- You have not taken thalidomide or colchicine before.
- You do not have other periodic fever syndromes, immune problems, cancer, or active infections.
