Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must have a confirmed liver-to-blood vessel shunt or clear signs of liver-related high blood pressure, like an enlarged spleen or enlarged veins in the esophagus (varices).
- You must have high blood pressure in the lungs confirmed by a heart catheterization or strongly suspected from an echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart).
- You agree to stick with the study's follow-up schedule and sign a consent form.
- You cannot have high blood pressure in the lungs due to another cause, advanced liver cancer, an active cancer outside the liver, or have had a recent liver shunt procedure (within the last month).
- You cannot be pregnant, breastfeeding, or have taken part in other treatment studies in the last 3 months.
