Who can take part

  • You have signed a consent form to join the study.
  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with idiopathic Parkinson's disease (the most common type of Parkinson's).
  • Your medical team has said you are eligible for deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgery to help with Parkinson's symptoms that are not controlled by medication.
  • You can understand Dutch or French well enough to take part in the study.
