Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have had pain in your face or jaw area for at least the past 30 days.
  • Your bite is Class I (normal alignment) — not an overbite, underbite, or deep bite.
  • You do not have any metal implants, pacemaker, or severe obesity.
  • You are comfortable in enclosed spaces (not claustrophobic) for an MRI.
