Study of E2086 for adults with narcolepsy

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have narcolepsy type 1 (with cataplexy) or type 2 (without cataplexy), diagnosed within the last 10 years
  • You experience significant daytime sleepiness (Epworth Sleepiness Scale score of 10 or higher)
  • You have a regular sleep schedule (bedtime between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m., wake time between 5 a.m. and 10 a.m., and spend 7 to 9 hours in bed)
  • You are not taking certain medications for narcolepsy or sleep (like stimulants, sedatives, or antidepressants) and can stop them 5 half-lives before the study starts
  • You do not have moderate to severe sleep apnea, unstable psychiatric conditions, or other significant medical issues
