This study tests if a simple blood test (called NT-proBNP) can help find hidden heart failure in people who have lymphoedema (leg swelling). If heart failure is caught early, it can be treated, which may improve your health and quality of life.

Who can take part
- You are 18 years of age or older.
- You are currently cared for by the Swansea Bay University Health Board Lymphoedema Service.
- You have swelling in both legs.
- You have never been diagnosed with heart failure.
- You have not had a NT-proBNP test in the past 12 months, or if you have, your leg swelling has become worse since that test.
- You are not pregnant and have not given birth in the last 6 months.
