This study tests if a home-based exercise program, guided by a computer or tablet, helps people recover better after knee replacement surgery. You would receive an exercise app (Kemtai) to use at home in addition to your usual physiotherapy visits.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You are scheduled for a knee replacement at Hull or Goole hospital and have access to pre-surgery physiotherapy resources
  • You have a device (like a smartphone or tablet) that can run the exercise program
  • You can follow instructions in English or have someone to help translate
  • You have not had a hip replacement in the last 6 months and this is your first knee replacement (not a revision or for a tumor)
