  • You are 19 years or older.
  • You are scheduled for hip or knee replacement surgery at a participating hospital.
  • You can walk without help (Functional Ambulatory Category 4 or 5) before surgery.
  • You can comfortably use a smartphone or tablet to run an app.
  • You don't have severe pain, dizziness, or vision problems that would make exercise difficult.
