Who can take part

  • You have cataracts in both eyes and plan to have cataract surgery
  • Your doctor expects you to have good vision (20/25 or better) after surgery
  • You have some astigmatism (an irregular curve in the front of your eye) that can be fixed with a special lens
  • You do not have serious eye diseases like age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma, or diabetic retinopathy
  • You do not have moderate to severe dry eye that could affect the study measurements
