Who can take part

  • Your child is between 0 and 18 years old
  • Your child has either a high or moderate genetic risk for type 1 diabetes (based on a special blood test) OR has tested positive for one or more early immune signs (autoantibodies) of type 1 diabetes
  • Your child has not yet reached stage 3 type 1 diabetes (the stage where insulin is needed)
  • Your child is not currently enrolled in another type 1 diabetes prevention study
