  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with fatty liver disease related to metabolism (not from alcohol or other causes).
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 25 and 38.5.
  • You do not have Type 1 diabetes or other conditions that require a special diet.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You have not taken weight-loss or glucose-lowering medications in the last 6 months.
