- You are 18 years or older
- You have chronic back pain that is not caused by cancer
- You are referred from a primary care doctor in certain areas of Teruel, Spain
- You can give your informed consent to participate
- You have not had spinal surgery in the last year
- You do not have a pacemaker or other internal electrostimulator device
