This study looks at how the size of the median nerve (a nerve in your wrist) relates to your body weight in people with carpal tunnel syndrome. If you join, you will have an ultrasound to measure the nerve and your weight will be recorded.

Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome (numbness, tingling, or pain in your hand that wakes you up at night).
- A nerve test has confirmed you have carpal tunnel syndrome.
- You do not have other conditions like diabetes, thyroid disease, rheumatoid arthritis, or kidney disease.
- You haven't had wrist surgery, injury, or a steroid shot in the past 6 months.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and do not have any unusual nerve anatomy in your wrist.
