  • Age between 18 and 75 years old
  • Either have carpal tunnel syndrome diagnosed by a nerve test in the last 3 months, or be a healthy volunteer without carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Willing to participate in the study
  • No prior surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome
  • No other nerve or muscle diseases
  • No severe arthritis of the joints
  • No psychiatric disorders or memory problems that could affect participation
