This trial tests if a new medicine, NNC0487-0111, can help people with excess weight and knee osteoarthritis lose weight and reduce knee pain. It is for people who have had knee pain for at least three months and who can stop taking pain relievers for short periods before study visits.

Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have been diagnosed with knee osteoarthritis and have x-ray changes in your most painful knee
- You have had knee pain for more than 90 days and had pain on more than 15 of the last 30 days
- You are willing to stop taking pain relievers for 72 hours before some visits (acetaminophen is allowed up to 24 hours before)
- You do not have diabetes or a blood sugar level above a certain threshold
- You have not taken certain weight-loss medicines (GLP-1 or similar drugs) before
