Breathing Support and Diaphragm Movement in Premature Newborns

Who can take part

  • Your baby was born at 32 weeks of pregnancy or earlier
  • Your baby is currently in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at the hospital running this study
  • Your baby has been on CPAP (gentle air pressure breathing support) for at least 24 hours
  • Your baby has a special feeding tube with sensors (EAdi catheter) already placed
  • Your baby is at least 72 hours old (3 days) since birth
  • Your family has health insurance or social security coverage
