Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You are scheduled for minimally invasive bypass surgery (MIDCAB) connecting your chest artery to your heart's left front vessel
  • You have not had a recent stroke or bleed in your brain
  • You do not have a known bleeding disorder or severe kidney or liver disease
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You are not having a stent procedure (PCI) at the same time as your bypass surgery
