  • Your child is between 3 and 16 years old
  • Your child is scheduled for a planned burn-related procedure (like wound cleaning or dressing changes)
  • Your child is in generally good health with no serious underlying heart, lung, or other organ conditions
  • You are willing to give written permission for your child to participate
  • Your child has not had serious allergic reactions to sedation medicines before
  • Your child does not have liver, kidney, seizure, or developmental disorders
