Calming drugs for children after heart catheterization

  • Your child is scheduled for a heart catheterization while fully asleep under general anesthesia.
  • Your child does not have any neurological disorder (like seizures or brain injury) or psychiatric condition.
  • Your child is not currently taking any medicines for a mental health or nerve condition.
  • Your child has no known allergies to the medicines used in the study.
  • Your child does not have any other serious medical conditions affecting the heart, lungs, or other organs.
