Who can take part

  • Be at least 18 years old and in fairly good overall health (able to care for yourself with minimal help)
  • Have blood counts, kidney function, and liver function that are adequate for treatment
  • Have a heart that pumps blood normally and no serious active heart disease in the past 6 months
  • No active infections, pregnancy, or severe medical conditions that would interfere with the trial
  • If you are a woman who could become pregnant, you must use birth control during and for 6 weeks after treatment
  • Your tumor must have specific genetic mutations (MAPK pathway for neurohistiocytosis, or NF1 for glioma)
