Who can take part
- You have documented coronary artery disease detected by imaging (calcium score, CT scan, or angiography) but no blockages severe enough to need stent or bypass surgery
- You have never had a heart attack, stroke, or coronary artery procedure
- You are not currently taking aspirin or blood-thinning medications, and your doctor hasn't recommended them
- You have no serious bleeding in the past year and are not at high risk for bleeding
- You have no allergy or contraindication to aspirin
- You are willing to take study medication as instructed and attend follow-up visits
