Nerve Stretching for Lower Leg Pain Relief
Part of Pain clinical trials.
This study tests whether gentle stretching exercises targeting the sciatic nerve (a major nerve in your leg) can help reduce leg pain and improve how your body perceives pain. Researchers will compare this treatment to standard care to see if it works.

This study measures how stiff the sciatic nerve is using ultrasound while you do gentle leg movements. It compares people with sciatica to healthy volunteers to understand nerve changes.
This trial compares two simple exercises (SNAG and SNME) to see which works better for people with long-lasting sciatic leg pain. If you have had pain going down one leg for over 3 months and have not had treatment in the last month, this study may help find relief.
This study tests whether a specialized physical therapy technique that gently mobilizes the sciatic nerve can reduce low back pain that radiates down the leg. If you have this type of pain, this trial may help you recover mobility and reduce discomfort.
This study compares two types of nerve stretching exercises plus mild electrical pulses to see which better relieves low back pain that travels down your leg. It is for people with recent leg pain and no nerve damage or history of surgery.
This trial compares two hands-on physical therapy techniques—one that stretches the sciatic nerve and one that moves it gently—to see which works better for sciatica pain that has lasted several months. You'll receive one of these treatments to help reduce leg pain and improve your ability to walk and move.
This study tests whether a gentle nerve-stretching technique (neurodynamics) can improve leg strength and endurance in athletes. If you're 18–30, currently active in sports or intense training, and have no recent leg injury or surgery, you may be able to join.
