Who can take part
- You had a stroke caused by a blocked artery in your brain that was treated with endovascular intervention within the last 24 hours
- The blood vessel was successfully reopened during the procedure
- Your stroke was moderate to severe (based on standard neurological assessments)
- You were not significantly disabled before your stroke
- Your kidneys and liver are working reasonably well
- You have not had recent bleeding in the brain or other serious brain conditions
