Who can take part

  • You have severe aortic stenosis (narrowing of the heart's aortic valve)
  • Your heart team has approved you for TAVI (transcatheter aortic valve implantation)
  • Your groin blood vessels are not suitable for the standard approach
  • A CT scan shows an alternative access route is possible for your anatomy
  • You do not have advanced cancer with a very short life expectancy
  • You are medically suitable overall for the TAVI procedure
