Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- Your wound has been open for more than 3 months
- Your wound is between 2–20 cm² in size (roughly the size of a postage stamp to a large coin)
- If you have diabetes, your blood sugar control is stable (HbA1c less than 9%)
- You can read and sign a consent form agreeing to participate
- You have no signs of bone infection or severe poor blood flow to the wound area
