  • Child patient (pediatric age)
  • Decayed baby molar with infected or dead nerve (irreversible pulpitis or pulp necrosis)
  • Baby tooth has enough structure left to treat with root canal
  • Permanent tooth underneath is still developing (early to mid stages)
  • No allergies to the paste ingredients (chloramphenicol, tetracycline, zinc oxide, eugenol)
  • Able to receive treatment safely in an outpatient dental office
