Who can take part

  • Confirmed diagnosis of Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD)
  • Age 5 years or older
  • No wounds, skin irritation, or active infection on the left ear
  • No previous surgery on the vagus nerve or procedures affecting nerve function
  • Able to learn and perform ear stimulation technique (with guardian help if needed)
  • No previous spleen removal surgery
  • No severe heart disease
