Muscle Imaging Study Using Advanced Scanning Technology

MyositisHealth Adult Subjects

Part of Bones, joints & muscles, Brain & nervous system clinical trials.

This research project uses advanced imaging and tissue sampling to better understand muscle diseases. If you're already having a muscle biopsy (a small tissue sample taken from your muscle) as part of your regular medical care, researchers want to use that sample to test new imaging methods that might help diagnose muscle problems more accurately in the future.

NCT07502989Recruiting
Study of Muscle Health Using Electrical Impedance Myography

This study uses a simple electrical test (EIM) and an MRI scan to check muscle health in people with muscle diseases. It may help researchers learn how to measure muscle changes without a biopsy.

Boston, Massachusetts
NCT07415837Recruiting
Studying a molecule in muscle diseases and healthy people

This study looks at a molecule called miR-1 in the blood to see if it can help understand muscle diseases. Researchers will compare levels in people with certain muscle conditions and in healthy volunteers.

NCT04866459Enrolling by invitation
Myo-MRI scan study for neuromuscular muscle diseases

This study tests whether special MRI scans can help evaluate neuromuscular (muscle/nerve) diseases. It may help doctors better assess muscle involvement and support diagnosis and evaluation.

Ottawa, Ontario
NCT00051857Recruiting
MRI Study of Muscle and Bone Function

This research study uses MRI scans (a safe imaging tool) to understand how bones, muscles, and joints work. Researchers are looking for both people with muscle or bone injuries and healthy volunteers to compare how the body moves and functions.

Bethesda, Maryland
NCT07362875Recruiting
Muscle imaging study for myotonic dystrophy

This study uses MRI scans to measure muscle changes in people with myotonic dystrophy (DM1 or DM2) and healthy volunteers. The goal is to find better ways to track the disease over time.

Biobank study follow-up for adults with inflammatory muscle disease

This study follows adults who have (or are being evaluated for) inflammatory muscle conditions to collect health data and genetic test information. It may help researchers better understand these diseases and improve future care.
