Diet and Electrical Muscle Stimulation for Weight Loss

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old
  • Your BMI (body mass index) is 30 or higher, indicating obesity
  • You exercise less than 2 hours per week in structured activities
  • You have no pacemaker, implantable defibrillator, or serious heart disease
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or undergoing cancer treatment
  • You have not done regular strength training in the past 3 months
