3D movies versus eye patching for lazy eye in children

Who can take part

  • Your child is between 4 and 14 years old
  • Your child has been diagnosed with unilateral amblyopia (lazy eye in one eye only), caused by refractive differences, eye misalignment, or a combination
  • The vision difference between your child's two eyes is significant (at least 2 lines on an eye chart)
  • Your child has never had amblyopia treatment before (including patching or other therapies)
  • Your child has no other eye conditions like cataracts, eye movement disorders, or retinal diseases
  • Your child has no neurological or cognitive conditions that would prevent following study instructions
