Who can take part

  • Age 20 or older
  • Diagnosed with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (irregular heart rhythm that comes and goes) or atrial flutter (a related rhythm problem)
  • Have a pacemaker implanted within the last 12 weeks, or plan to get one soon
  • Able to use the CardioMessenger 4G home-monitoring device
  • Expected to live at least 1 year
  • Not pregnant or breastfeeding
