Vitamin D and Brain Activity in Women With Depression

Who can take part

  • You are a woman between 20 and 40 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder by a psychiatrist
  • Your blood test shows low vitamin D (below 30 ng/ml)
  • You have been taking the same antidepressant medication at the same dose for at least 6 months with no changes
  • You are not currently taking vitamin D supplements or other medications that affect the brain besides your antidepressant
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or actively smoking
