Who can take part
- You are a man diagnosed with epilepsy by a neurologist.
- You have had at least two seizures more than 24 hours apart.
- Your vitamin D level is below 30 ng/mL.
- Your body mass index (BMI) is between 20 and 24.
- You have been taking certain seizure medications (carbamazepine, phenytoin, or phenobarbital) for 6 months to 2 years.
- You are not taking any other drugs that affect your central nervous system, like antidepressants or anxiety meds.
