Who can take part

  • Diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia (severe, stabbing facial pain on one side of the face)
  • Medicines for this condition have not worked well or caused unbearable side effects for at least 3 months
  • You either can't have surgery, don't want surgery, or surgery didn't help you before
  • You don't have a brain lesion that needs surgery
  • You don't have a pacemaker or other device that laser treatment could interfere with
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
