Who can take part
- You are 65 or older.
- You have itching that lasts more than 6 weeks, without a primary skin rash (scratch marks are fine).
- You are having elective knee replacement surgery under general anesthesia.

- Your BMI is between 18 and 30.
- You are not allergic to certain anesthetics, opioids, or NSAIDs, and have no severe heart, lung, liver, or kidney disease.
