Brain Stimulation to Improve Arm Movement After Stroke

Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You had a stroke that weakened one arm or hand (you may use a wheelchair or assistive devices)
  • Your arm weakness is moderate to significant, but you don't have severe muscle wasting, stiffness, or loss of sensation
  • You had an MRI or CT brain scan at Carle Hospital during or after your stroke diagnosis
  • You can speak and understand English and are able to give informed consent
  • You are willing to attend sessions and undergo the brain stimulation treatment
