Who can take part

  • Recently diagnosed with multiple myeloma that is considered 'high-risk' (a more aggressive form)
  • Your myeloma is measurable on blood tests or imaging scans
  • You are healthy enough to undergo high-dose chemotherapy followed by stem cell transplant
  • You have not received other anti-myeloma drugs yet (except for a steroid given in emergencies or one cycle of first-line treatment)
  • Your blood counts and organ function are within acceptable ranges for the study
  • You do not have certain rare myeloma variants or amyloidosis (a related protein disease)
