Who can take part

  • You must be 65 years or older.
  • You must have geographic atrophy (a type of dry AMD) that has grown at least 1.6 mm² per year recently.
  • The area of geographic atrophy in the study eye must be between 1.25 mm² and 16 mm².
  • Your vision in the study eye should be 20/32 or worse (less than 75 letters on a reading chart).
  • You cannot have had any eye surgery or infection in the past 12 weeks, and no more than 2 anti-VEGF injections per year are allowed.
